The AD Foundation

Established in 2012, The AD Foundation supports Greater Milwaukee communities by providing and maintaining facilities for schools, food pantries, medical services, churches, and other benevolent causes.

The Origin Story

The Founders explain the AD Foundation’s origins: “Seeing the need for better facilities at El Puente, a Transcenter for Youth School (where I served on the board for 30 years), and learning of a vacant church building also housing a food pantry, the AD Foundation was formed. We acquired and renovated the building, creating a suitable learning environment for El Puente, a new home for a church, and ensuring the food pantry’s continued operation.”

Founding Principles

Responding to Genuine Need: We are guided by a commitment to act when presented with authentic opportunities to serve our community.
Purpose-Driven Action: We believe in acting when we identify a true need and the means to effectively address it.
Principled Benevolence: Our foundation is built on responding to opportunities for positive impact.
